The benefits of Coffee Causes:

Individuals and organisations that support Coffee Causes not only receive award winning coffee but are also helping to provide vital aid. Coffee Causes has teamed up with approved humanitarian projects so that a share of our proceeds can be directly provided to the people around the world that need our help. Best of all you get to choose where the money is directed! Upon checkout simply select the cause that you wish to support.

Where is our Coffee From?

Brisbane based Artisan Roaster Mark Pearce carefully prepares each batch of roasted beans…….as Mark says “every batch takes 100% concentration. Our process is not automatic so I work carefully to make each batch perfect. Coffee beans like any natural product vary from batch to batch and our hand crafted batch roasting takes this into account. You can taste the difference. With care and precision each batch of coffee is meticulously crafted.”

Mark sources beans directly from farmers that are ethical in their business and roasts throughout the week ensuring that our customers receive the freshest possible product. Coffee is packed and dispatched the same day. Each batch is cupped for consistency and quality.

Where do we deliver?

We deliver anywhere in Australia. Orders outside of Australia can also be arranged. Coffee Causes is required to confirm with the proper Govermment Authorities if we will face issues when we attempt to send product overseas. This may cause delays or further charges. No insurance is provided and the customer should contact us at onecup@coffeecauses.com.au prior to completing your online transaction.

Because we deliver literally from the roastery to you, we can ensure that the freshest, most amazing coffee arrives directly to you. For an extra dollar or two of freight you will never regret it!

How long does it take?

You order. We roast and deliver. You typically will receive your custom-made batch within 7 days. Regular purchases can be scheduled in advance. Imagine the regular treat of fresh coffee at your office or home.

All amounts are in Australian dollars.

Where do our Causes come from?

We support a number of organisations that have a history of ethical and responsible practices. From these groups Coffee Causes has selected a range of projects for you to choose from. I have personally selected a number of causes to get us started. The idea is that we will continually add more and more projects as more people buy coffee. If you wish to support a particular country or type of cause please look at the extensive database of projects and let us know at onecup@coffeecauses.com

For more causes see the following links:

http://www.globaldevelopment.org.au
http://www.kiva.org

Another cause that has inspired us is kiva.org. Check them out . We will aggregate nominated donations to kiva until we reach the $25 minimum and will select an entrepeneur to support.

A number of other organizations have partnered with us on specific causes including: CS Energy – who have rolled out a unique Generosity corporate giving program and The Hope CD Project which has sponsored the Coffee Causes Hope brand throughout Australia.

Can you support my cause?

Possibly…….drop us a note at onecup@coffeecauses.com and we will see what we can do!

Can I get a tax deduction for my gift?

The money Coffee Causes donates to our causes is part of the sales price of the coffee and not eligible for a tax deductible receipt. However any amounts you donate above and beyond this in the checkout process (using the tabs marked "donate") may be eligible. To receive a receipt at the end of each financial year you must follow the following process:

1. Write to us at onecup@coffeecauses.com and request a tax receipt including your name, address and Coffee Cause login name.
2. Use your Coffee Causes login when you purchase your coffee
3. Give more than $30 in a financial year
4. Give to the tax deductible projects as listed on the website

We are able to provide a tax-deductible receipt through the Global Development Group. To ensure the cost of administration of GDG is covered we only can provide receipts under these arrangements.

What are Private Label Causes

A number of organisations have integrated Coffee Causes into their own exciting initiatives. By selecting the Private Label cause, Coffee Causes will channel the 10% of the purchase price directly to the Private Label cause.
